Origins of Yoga

Today's society is much faster than the pace ever. People have more stress problems that lead to more health problems, physical and mental. There is more concern about toxicity in the food we eat and the air we breathe. Millions of Americans are now living a sedentary lifestyle, which is associated with obesity. The body cavities of our soul is not meant to deteriorate in a manner that leads to the disease. Yoga was developed over 5000 years in India and that includes spiritual beliefs, physical techniques, and academic philosophy.

There is a growing tendency to yoga for many different reasons, which include achieving yoga or physical body, relaxation and peace of mind, or to prevent injuries and illnesses. Mainly Americans practice Hatha Yoga, which focuses on the positions of stretching and body.
Yoga, which is derived from the Sanskrit sacred language of India, within the meaning of the union * * * or yoke or harness *.
Yoga is a way or path to transcendence and liberation from the ego and autonomy for the purification of the mind and body. Practicing yoga leads to a union with the mind and body or individual conscience and universal. In other words, yoga is the union with the individual self and the Universal Order. Yoga predates all other religions and has influenced and inspired many other traditions and philosophies. Yoga is better understood as a union of the physical, physiological, mental, emotional, intellectual and organs, which leads to a balanced and useful life.

There is simply no other discipline quite like yoga, as they use the body, mind and spirit, all in a single practice. Yoga is certainly a spiritual path that is based on the sacred ancient philosophy, but there is no need to make an ethical decision when practicing yoga, and not finding your own path is fully accepted. The benefits of yoga are integral convenient for young or old, sick or well, with any religious group. The secrets of yoga are inwardness, concentration and purification of the mind and body with thoughts of cleaning and maintenance.
